CT Tech I-III at Duke Energy in Belton, SC is responsible for the start-up, shutdown, operation, monitoring, servicing and maintenance of combustion turbine equipment. You will follow approved procedures and safety protocols such as Lock Out Tag Out and PPE.

Proficiency with computer software and plant work management tools like Maximo and Passport is required. Applicants should have a Technical or Associate degree and 2 years of related work experience.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree required with 2 years related work experience.
• In lieu of degree – HS Diploma/GED with 2 years related work experience accepted.
• Must pass POSS and MASS selection systems and a medical physical with respirator fit test.
• Ability to work in a team, and travel 5–15% as needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain combustion turbine facility equipment per approved procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance; test, analyze, and report variances.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment; perform inventory duties.
• Follow location safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out and PPE requirements.
