Job summary

Duke Energy seeks multiple CT Tech Operators in Salisbury, NC to support safe, reliable operation and maintenance of a combined cycle facility. This hands-on role covers start-up, shutdown, monitoring, troubleshooting and routine maintenance across plant systems, including combustion turbines and HRSGs, with a strong safety focus and rotating shifts.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, good communication and basic computer skills; an Associate degree and CMMS experience (Maximo/Passport) are

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with ability to read and follow instructions.
• Associates degree and 2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and monitor substation equipment and plant systems.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on turbine and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Follow Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures for equipment safety.
• Read OEM manuals, warranty docs and technical drawings as needed.
• Maintain EHS records and assist with inventory and spares lists.
