Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Milwaukee, WI, for a full-time night shift in Radiology. You will position patients to obtain precise images and apply strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

You will collaborate with physicians during procedures and ensure room readiness and safe contrast administration. The role requires Wisconsin licensure, ARRT Radiography, BLS, and 3+ years of imaging experience, with advanced Mammography/CT or MRI certifications

Qualifications

• Certified BLS Provider required before hire date.
• ARRT Radiography credential before hire date; advanced mammography/CT preferred.
• Wisconsin radiologic license required before hire date.
• MRI certification within 24 months preferred; ARRT breast ultrasound preferred.
• Minimum of three years imaging experience required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Capture precision diagnostics by expertly positioning patients and tailoring technical parameters to ensure the highest quality images for accurate physician review.
• Champion patient safety through the rigorous application of radiation protection protocols, ensuring a secure environment for both your patients and your clinical team.
• Facilitate complex interventions by partnering directly with physicians during advanced procedures, providing the technical agility needed for successful outcomes.
• Manage total room readiness by overseeing equipment integrity and the safe administration of contrast media, ensuring every procedure flows seamlessly and safely.
  

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• ⢠Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• ⢠Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire dale or job transfer date required. Advanced cerlification for Mammography or CT preferred; Advanced certification for MRI within 24 months of hire preferred. ARRT breast ultrasound certification preferred.
• ⢠Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire dale or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma required.
• Graduation from a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred.

Work Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years Imaging experience required.
