Job summary

Ascension in Franklin, WI seeks a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform precision imaging, position patients for optimal diagnostic results, and ensure safety. The role requires licensure and radiography credentials with CT specialization; duties include contrast administration and protocol updates.

Location is Franklin, Wisconsin with a days-based schedule and PRN coverage. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, patient comfort, and adherence to imaging standards.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration requirements: BLS Provider within 1 month of hire; Wisconsin Radiography exam board credential; NMTCB/ARRT CT certification combinations as applicable.
• Education: high school equivalency with 2 years experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of related experience.
• Various professional credentials may be required depending on specialty (NMTCB, CNMT, ARRT CT).

Responsibilities

• Execute precision imaging by selecting technical parameters and positioning patients accurately for high quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients to ensure comfort and safety.
• Translate radiologist protocols into clinical actions to guide patient care pathway.
• Recommend imaging protocol updates to keep techniques current and efficient.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience

Associate's degree/Technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• various availability for PTO, vacations, extra staffing as needed. Minimum of 2-4 available shifts per schedule
