Job summary

Ascension is hiring in Wisconsin for a Diagnostic Radiology Ambulatory role in the Milwaukee area. The position focuses on quality control testing, equipment upkeep, and coordinating staff scheduling for X-ray shifts.

You will guide staff orientation, training, and participate in performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires BLS within 30 days, relevant radiology credentials (CCI, ARRT, ARDMS), and Wisconsin licensure, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date, AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Cardiographic Tech credential from CCI obtained prior to hire date.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist with General Radiography credential and Wisconsin licensure.
• ARDMS Sonography credential is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a resource to department staff and team members as needed.
• Create the upcoming X-ray shift schedule and finalize Kronos timecards/approvals.
• Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching; provide input to evaluations.

• Create the upcoming X-ray shift schedule and finalize Kronos timecards/approvals.
• Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provide input to staff performance evaluations.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One Or More Of The Following

• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
