Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging to join our team on the night shift. You will perform CT scans, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow within a busy Level One Trauma Center in Northeast Ohio.

Eligible candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, registered with ARRT (CT credential within 1 year), hold an Ohio Radiographer license, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Apply on-the-spot critical thinking; work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with CT team, nurses, physicians, and other care-team members.
