Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform high-quality CT imaging and assist in CT-guided procedures. The role requires ARRT certification and a valid Ohio radiography license, with potential cross-training during night shifts in a 5x12 schedule.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, education, and collaboration with radiologists, nurses, and therapists to deliver exceptional care for trauma, stroke, and cancer patients in the Northeast

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• ARRT CT credential or must obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate critical thinking on the spot and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
