Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for the Columbia County Medical Center Hospital in Georgia. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient-centered care, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance for eligible candidates, and full-time employment with a Friday–Sunday night shift. Wellstar supports education and career progression through its CareerCare program.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation dose (ALARA).
• Clean and disinfect rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history and screen contraindications.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS.”
• Maintain documentation and support department workflow.
