Job summary

Intermountain Health is offering a structured pathway for Radiologic Technologists to train into CT at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. The role provides on‑the‑job CT training, mentorship from experienced CT staff, and a clear pathway to become a registered CT Technologist.

Eligible certified applicants may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The position supports growth within a high‑acuity imaging environment with a patient‑centered care culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit complete exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report equipment concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and medical condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory management and quality improvement.
