CT Training Pathway

Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Training to CT at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. This role offers a structured pathway to become a CT Technologist within a high-volume imaging environment.

You will train on the job, work alongside experienced CT professionals, and progress toward ARRT CT registry eligibility. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible certified applicants after completing CT training.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic quality.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report equipment concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory management and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow documentation, consents, medical necessity, and coding/charging policies.
• Pursue continued learning and成 develop CT skills.
• Complete all required documentation with accurate time stamps and image storage.
