Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and follow ALARA principles to minimize dose while maintaining safety.

You will be responsible for patient prep, contrast administration, and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, with a schedule that supports a Friday–Sunday 7:00am–7:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to maintain quality at low dose.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure patient identifiers are correct.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol with venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
