Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT.
• Certifications: BLS – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Work independently operating imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjusting techniques for diagnostic quality at the lowest dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
