Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience.

You will perform CT procedures per guidelines, maintain ALARA, ensure safety, and document studies in RIS/PACS; ARRT-CT/ARRT-R and BLS required with 1 year radiology experience; sign-on bonus and relocation available; full-time schedule Fri-Sun 7:00am-7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines; capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely; maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history; verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; document and finalize in RIS/PACS.
