Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and provide a supportive patient experience.

You will perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA dose, ensure patient safety, manage contrast administration, and collaborate with radiology teams. Eligible candidates have ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently with ALARA dose practices.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart as needed.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
