Job summary

Methodist Hospital is hiring a CT Tech II to support post-processing on CT/MRI datasets and ensure high-quality imaging with proper QC and documentation. The role involves collaboration with the radiology team, maintenance coordination, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualified candidates possess ARRT certifications and appropriate radiologic credentials, with readiness to learn and comply with hospital safety policies and departmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• (CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Certificate, or Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets with timely, efficient work and maintains QC in the 3D Lab.
• Shows knowledge across CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning, prep and factors for CT/MRI systems.
• Communicates well, prioritizes tasks, mentors staff, and delivers in-services.
• Ensures proper operation of CT/MRI post-processing equipment, coordinates repairs and maintenance, maintains inventory and service records.
• Assists in establishing QC/QA protocols per JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH and others.
• Manages RIS usage, scheduling, patient tracking and helps with charging accuracy.
