Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a CT Tech II to perform post-processing on CT/MRI data, maintain QC, and support the radiology team. You will manage 3D post-processing, positioning, and technical factors across CT and MRI platforms, while mentoring staff and ensuring timely, accurate exam processing.

The role requires ARRT certification in MR or CT or radiography, plus an Associate degree or certificate and BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Associate Degree, or Certificate

Responsibilities

• Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets and maintains QC measures.
• Demonstrates knowledge in CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning and technical factors.
• Communicates effectively, prioritizes tasks, and mentors staff as needed.
• Ensures proper operation and maintenance of CT/MRI post-processing equipment; coordinates with vendors.
• Assists in establishing QC/QA protocols per JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH.
• Responsible for RIS use and patient/exam tracking and charging accuracy.
