Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a dedicated CT Tech II to join our Radiology team. You will perform CT/MRI post-processing, ensure quality control, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes CT/MRI knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to safety and documentation standards. Weekend days shift and collaboration with staff are core aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography.
• Associate Degree, or Certificate

Responsibilities

• Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets; maintains quality control measures of the 3D Lab, CT/MRI department and insures proper documentation.
• Demonstrates knowledge in CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors.
• Communicates effectively, prioritizes tasks, and mentors staff while delivering in-services and instructions.
• Ensures proper working condition of CT/MRI post-processing equipment; coordinates with vendors for repairs and maintenance; maintains inventory and service records.
• Assists in establishing QC/QA protocols as required by agencies (JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH).
• Responsible for RIS usage (scheduling exams, patient tracking, billing accuracy) and patient flow.
