Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is seeking a CT Tech II to support the patient experience in the radiology department. The role emphasizes post-processing, imaging quality, and collaboration with the CT/MRI team.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certifications and an associate degree or certification, with strong communication and mentoring skills to support staff and patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACCEPTED: Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Associate Degree or Certificate required.
• ARRT-MR or ARRt-CT or ARMRIT certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.

Responsibilities

• Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets with quality control and documentation.
• Demonstrates CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning and technical factors knowledge.
• Prioritizes tasks and mentors staff while delivering in-services and instructions.
• Ensures proper operation and maintenance of CT/MRI post-processing equipment; coordinates with vendors.
• Establishes QC/QA protocols as required by regulatory bodies like JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH.
• Manages RIS usage for scheduling, tracking, and patient/exam documentation.
