Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a CT Tech II to perform post-processing on CT/MRI datasets and support the 3D lab with quality control and documentation. You will coordinate with vendors for maintenance and assist in RIS scheduling and patient tracking to ensure workflow efficiency.

The role requires ARRT certification in MR/CT or Radiography, an associated degree or certificate, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or CT or Radiography certification (ARRT)
• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Perform post-processing on CT/MRI data sets with timely and efficient workflow.
• Demonstrate knowledge across CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning and technical factors.
• Communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and mentor staff as needed while delivering in-services.
• Ensure proper operation of CT/MRI post-processing equipment; coordinate vendor repairs and preventive maintenance; maintain inventory and service records.
• Assist in establishing QC/QA protocols per JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH and others when applicable.
• Handle RIS-based scheduling, patient tracking, film tracking and accuracy in patient charging under supervision.
