Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking a CT Tech II PRN to perform post-processing on CT and MRI data, ensuring high-quality imaging and documentation. The tech will participate in QC/QA, coordinate maintenance, and assist with RIS tasks, including scheduling and patient tracking.

The role requires ARRT certification in CT/MR or R, BLS, and a certificate or associate degree, with a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-MR, ARRT-CT, or ARRT-R certification.
• Certificate or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets with timely and efficient execution.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CT, MRI, 3D post-processing, positioning, and technical factors.
• Communicates well, prioritizes tasks, and mentors staff as needed while delivering in-services and training.
• Ensures proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment and coordinates with vendors for maintenance.
• Maintains inventory and equipment service records and aids in QC/QA protocol development per regulatory standards.
• Assists with RIS duties including scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, and in-patient charging accuracy.
