Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under a Radiologist, with proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and advanced cardiac/vascular imaging. Responsibilities include patient care across all ages from neonate to geriatric and adhering to prescribed standards.

Required: AMA or JRCERT-approved radiologic program, 1 year CT experience, ARRT CT registration, CT certification, and BCLS. On-site role in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of CT experience Required.
• ARRT registration (CT) Required and CT Advanced certification by ARRT Required and BCLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatrics.
• Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular).

Overview

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
