Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a CT Tech II to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, including neonatal to geriatric patients, with competence in Cardiac and Vascular CT imaging.

Must have ARRT CT certification, CT Advanced certification, and BCLS; AMA/JRCERT accredited education; minimum 1 year CT experience; willingness to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification required, ARRT CT Advanced certification required, BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations; demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular).

CT Tech II-PAH

Overview:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
