Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Registered Radiographer with ARRT licensure.
• State license as Radiologic Technician.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in CT imaging, positioning, and procedure preparation.
• Operates CT equipment and maintains safety of associated devices.
• Uses Meditech Radiology Imaging System for scheduling and tracking exams.
• Provides care across neonate to geriatric patients.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms and supplies.
• Works independently and in a team, following supervisor instructions.
• May access radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as appropriate.
• Supports dose monitoring and radiation safety initiatives.
• Participates in training and orientation of new staff.
• May cross-train to assist other department functions.
