Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will ensure patient safety and care across neonatal to geriatric patients, following all prescribed standards.

The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with a preference for candidates who have at least 6 months of radiology experience. Join our team to contribute to accurate imaging and exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certified.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations following prescribed standards under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to diverse age groups from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
