Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. This role serves patients across all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification and BLS, with AMA-approved radiologic technology education; experience is preferred for a smooth integration into the team.

Qualifications

• ARD: ARRT certification required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
