Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations and operate CT equipment following prescribed standards and safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable, with BLS certification preferred to support a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric age groups.
  • Operate CT equipment following prescribed standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
