Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under radiology supervision. You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and imaging quality across diverse age groups.

The role requires ARRT certification with registered status and an AMA/JRCERT-validated education. BLS certification is required; prior experience of 6 months is preferred. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
  • BLS certified; preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations under supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
