Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and provide compassionate patient care under supervision. The role requires certification by ARRT and experience in radiologic technology, with responsibilities spanning neonatal to geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate will have completed an AMA/JRCERT accredited program, hold BLS certification, and be committed to safety and quality in imaging services within a dynamic radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified.
• PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
