Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• One year general radiographic experience required.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• New York State license required upon hire.
• ARRT-CT certification required within 180 days.
• BLS certification within 90 days required.
• IV certification training available on-site within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform cross-sectional radiographs as ordered.
• Position patients and ensure safety/comfort per protocols.
• Administer IV contrast as directed by physician.
• Review images for quality and communicate with radiology team.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to ALARA radiation safety practices.
