Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform exams with emphasis on patient safety and radiation protection. You will handle general, invasive, and CT imaging procedures, rotate across three areas, and be on-call as needed.

Requirements include NYS licensing and ARRT registration, AMA-approved education in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS certification. CT training completion is essential, with contrast media administration certification from NYS

Qualifications

• AS Satisfactory completion AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist, and must have completed on the job training in CT.
• Licensed by New York State and registered by the ARRT.
• BLS - American Heart Association certification.
• Certificate to administer contrast media from New York State.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology exams with high quality patient care and radiation protection.
• Conduct general, invasive, and imaging procedures in CT and Special Procedures.
• Rotate through all three areas and be on call as needed.
• Administer intravascular contrast media injections as defined by NYS regulation.
