Job summary

Montefiore is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to join the radiology team on site in New York. The role requires NYS licensure and ARRT CT certification, with responsibility for patient preparation, image acquisition, and collaboration with radiologists during procedures.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with CAT Scan systems and Epic workflows, uphold radiation safety standards, and participate in training staff and students as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARRT-certified radiologic technology program.
• New York State licensed/registered radiologic technologist with CT certification.
• Experience with CAT Scan systems and image processing workflows.
• Familiarity with Epic tracking and radiology workflows.
• OHS Fit Test / Annual Assessment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room and enter data into Epic.
• Position patient and obtain scout image for the procedure.
• Acquire cross-sectional CT images with appropriate protocols.
• Assist radiologist during biopsy procedures and monitor progress.
• Operate injector when necessary and label images for interpretation.
• Maintain records of image slices and ensure radiation safety.
