Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal radiologic technology training program required.
• NY State licensure as Radiologic Technologist and ARRT CT certification required.
• Experience with CT imaging and radiology procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data into Epic and systems as needed.
• Position patient correctly for CT scan and prepare room.
• Set protocols and scan sequences for high-quality images.
• Assist radiologist during biopsy procedures when needed.
• Operate injector and monitor procedure progress as applicable.
• Process and label CT images for radiologist review.
• Maintain records of image slices and injections.
• Uphold radiation safety rules for patients and staff.
• Train colleagues and students in CT procedures.
• Maintain orderliness of assigned CT area.
