Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (Associates or Vocational).
• Texas Medical Board Certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) required.
• ARRT (R) registration and current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and positions patients for scans.
• Adjusts techniques and factors to optimize images.
• Performs image reconstruction and evaluates scans for quality.
• Maintains patient safety and follows radiation protection standards.
• Performs clerical tasks and records data in PACS and logs.
• Ensures hours worked are documented per hospital policy.
