Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging safety. You will assist with reconstructions, data processing, and patient care while following radiation safety standards.

The role requires ARRT CT credential, Texas licensure, and BCLS certification, with opportunities to collaborate in a dynamic radiology team within a major hospital within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (Associates or Vocational).
• Texas Medical Board Certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT (R) Registration and current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to perform diagnostic scans and adjusts positioning for each exam.
• Reconstructs and processes data, evaluates image quality and technique.
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety practices; observes and communicates with patients.
• Performs routine clerical tasks and records data in PACS and logs.
• Ensures proper identification of films and accurate documentation of hours.
