Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE, seeks a Full-Time CT Technologist to perform CT imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations. The position requires ARRT CT registry and Delaware licensure in Radiation Protection, with a CT registry exam if not already completed.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry completed or in process.
• Delaware radiologic technologist licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT Scanner units per department protocols.
• Complete all imaging procedures within scheduled times.
• Verify insurance pre-authorizations prior to scanning.
• Assist in student and staff training in procedures and safety.
• Administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assess patient status for adverse reactions and document findings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injectors and i-STAT testing.
