Job summary

Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist for the Newark campus Imaging Department. This role requires night shifts (11p–7:30a), one weekend per month, and 1–2 holidays per year, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include performing all phases of CT, operating scanners, administering contrast under physician supervision, and assisting students and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT CT Registry is required.
• ARRT CT Registry must be active.
• DE state radiation protection license is required.
• CT Registry exam completion needed within 2 years if non-certified at hire.
• Equivalency considered with related education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for in-patients and outpatients according to protocols.
• Operate CT scanner units safely and efficiently.
• Administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assist in learning for students and new staff.
• Complete insurance pre-authorization checks as defined.
