Job summary

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a Part-Time CT Technologist to work the evening and midnight shift. This position has a weekend and holiday requirement.

Primary function includes performing CT scans for in-patients and out-patients under radiologist supervision, with additional imaging as skills permit and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT CT registry required.
• Licensed by State of Delaware on Radiation Protection.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• CT Registry exam must be completed within 2 years of hire.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging as skills permit.
• Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Assist in the learning process of students and new staff in department procedures.
• Administer all contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assess patient for adverse reactions and changes in status.
• Ensure safety and proper use of imaging equipment per policies.
