Job summary

ChristianaCare's Newark Imaging Department is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist. The role involves performing CT scan testing on inpatients and outpatients, adhering to department protocols and patient safety standards.

Requirements include ARRT CT registry, Delaware radiologic license, and an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred). The position includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a schedule with day shifts plus occasional weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry is required.
• Delaware State Radiation Protection license required.
• Completion of the CT Registry exam within 2 years if not currently certified.
• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of CT Scan testing on in-patients and out-patients in accordance with department procedures.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Administer all contrast media under physician supervision.
• Verify insurance pre-authorization as defined by departmental protocols.
• Assist in the learning process of students and new staff.
