Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures. You will coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, educate patients on procedures, and work closely with nurses, physicians, and radiology staff.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT credentialed (CT within 1 year), holds an Ohio Radiographer License, and has AHA BLS certification or will

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registration required; CT credential within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
