Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging in a busy radiology department. The role includes assisting with CT-guided procedures, coordinating schedules for inpatients and outpatients, and educating patients about procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registered with CT credential (or within 1 year), and hold an Ohio radiographer license, with BLS certification or planned attainment during probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding.
• Communicate effectively and stay calm under stress; work with CT team.
