Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images across neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominothoracic, and cardiac studies, and assist with CT-guided procedures, including biopsies and drain placements.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, educating patients about procedures to ensure comfort, and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other care team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT credential beyond registry or CT credential required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients in the CT suite.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain comfort and understanding.
• Operate with on-the-spot critical thinking and maintain strong communication under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and the care team to deliver exceptional patient care.
