Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department in Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support inpatients and outpatients. The role requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and ARRT registration.

You will work nights on a 5x12-hour schedule with a biweekly 60-hour commitment, cross-training, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and therapists to deliver safe, accurate imaging while educating patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and therapists to ensure patient-centered care.
