Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia, is seeking a per diem CT Technologist (Cat Scan CT Tech) to join our radiology team. This PRN role supports imaging services across the department, contributing to high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include patient history review, exam education, contrast administration, and image quality optimization while ensuring safety standards. WV licensure, BLS, and ARRT radiology registration are required.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s in a related field.
• BLS certification required.
• West Virginia Radiation Operator Certificate and ARRT radiology registration.
• On-call availability and ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patient about procedures and exams.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Maintain safety standards and perform QC on equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
