Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Tech to join the Radiology team. You will perform imaging procedures, prepare patients, and monitor patient conditions while ensuring safety and quality of imaging results.

You will educate patients, handle contrast administration, and respond to changes in patient status. This role supports the hospital’s commitment to high-quality patient care and imaging services.

Qualifications

• Education: Two-year certificate, assoc. degree and/or bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licenses: West Virginia Radiation Operator Certificate; ARRT in Radiology.
• On-Call Availability: Must accept on-call assignments and be able to report within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
