Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician orders.
Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams.
Prepare equipment and supplies.
Select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
Ensure safety standards and perform quality control on equipment.
Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as needed.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
Analyze results and identify image quality issues; take action to improve images.
Enter and transmit scan results.
