Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform a range of CT examinations for inpatients and outpatients under supervision of Radiology leadership. You will assist Radiologists with interventional procedures and ensure adherence to radiation safety standards while delivering exceptional patient care.

The position requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification, Massachusetts RTR licensure, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (RTR).
• Ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Position and transfer patients and assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Send exams to PACS and support scheduling and urgent exam requests.
