Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires MR/CT certification, Massachusetts licensure, and the ability to travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as needed.

The position is non-exempt with a 40-hour schedule and a day shift. A potential signing bonus may be available, contingent on interview eligibility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with standards.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Sends exams to PACS for physicians to review and performs QC on images.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton to provide support as scheduled.
