Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations for diverse patient ages under supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director. The role supports radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Required ARRT radiology certification, MA RTR licensure, and a CT Sub-specialty within 1 year. BLS is also required, with ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and RTR licensure are required.
• CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintaining CEUs for ARRT/DPH is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform a variety of CT examinations for physician interpretation and diagnosis.
• Assist radiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Provide exceptional patient care while adhering to radiation safety standards.
• Perform related clerical and service duties and support other departments as needed.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification in Radiology

RTR licensure (Massachusetts)

CT Sub-specialty certification within 1 year
