Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Central Massachusetts is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations, prepare patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.

You will operate CT equipment, apply contrast as required, and collaborate with Radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining ALARA standards. ARRT certification, MA RTR licensure, and BLS are required, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required.
• CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams and ensure comfort and modesty.
• Operate CT scanner and perform CT imaging per Radiology protocol.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
• Assist Radiologists during procedures and train new CT Technologists and students.
• Maintain accurate patient records and equipment supplies.
