Job summary

Join our Radiology Department at MetroHealth in Ohio. The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT imaging, supports CT-guided procedures, and coordinates patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients. Training and cross-training opportunities are available, with a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT certification, Ohio license, and strong anatomy knowledge along with teamwork and effective communication within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT; CT credential within 1 year.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drains, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding.
• Apply on-the-spot critical thinking and maintain accuracy under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and care team members.
